Dr. Lori Reitman was my primary care physician for a few years. Then I was sick for a few months and had lost the ability to walk, and lost 30 pounds. I also had red dots on both my legs. I begged her to give me a referral so I could see a specialist. She refused, saying that if I lost a few more pounds then maybe she would. Less than a week later I almost died from a spleen infarction due to an undiagnosed blood infection. I also ended up having emergency mitral valve repair.
