I was recommended by a friend to Andrea after my pediatrician mentioned his flat spot at his 2 month appointment. I'm so glad I called her. The transformation was amazing and Andrea is a great person to work with. I would recommend her to anyone!
Andrea is wonderful! My pediatrician told me at my son's 2-month checkup that we could do exercises at home or go and do PT with Andrea, and I am so thankful that we decided to go and see her. If we hadn't, my son's torticollis and flattening would have gotten much, much worse. She held me accountable for doing the exercises, which is exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend her to anyone who has been told their child has torticollis!
My son showed progress very quickly with his torticollis. He improved quickly when I started his exercises and he will be turning one this month and he looks great.
Andrea at Looking Ahead Physical Therapy did a fabulous job helping our son to stretch and strengthen his neck muscles so he could turn his head to the left (before he only turned to the right). His flat spot/bump on head went down drastically (didn't end up needing a helmet) as we did the exercises she taught us. She was also helpful at telling us other developmental milestones that didn't relate to his therapy. I highly recommend her :)
This has been a life changer for our family. My daughter has microcephaly, scoliosis, torticollis, spinabifida and overall low tone. The difference Andrea has made is mind blowing. She has worked our daughter hard, while also being tender and encouraging me the entire time through such a hard time. Our family adores Andrea and her work is truly amazing.
My son had a pretty severe flat spot on the side of his head. We started seeing Andrea around 4 months of age and we were able to make significant improvement with the physical therapy and exercises at home. By the time we graduated most people didn't even notice anything out of shape with his head. We did opt for a helmet to get the shape perfected. I would absolutely recommend Looking Ahead Pediatric!
