My first visit was an amazing experience. I was treated with respect and Dr. O'Shea walked me through everything he was doing and took all the time I needed to answer all my questions. All his assistants were nice and helpful. Academy is now my dental care provider.
This was my first time at this office. The doctor and staff were extremely polite, knowledgeable and easy to talk to and relate to. When the doctor came in the room he introduced himself and gave me his history of education and even his personal history (i.e. where he grew up, if he was married or not). Overall I was extremely pleased with my first visit. I will go back.
I would never think about going anywhere else for dental care. I enjoyed meeting Dr. O'Shea, very personable. Of course, Brenda and Holly are the core of the Academy Dental and make each visit welcoming.
I never thought I'd look forward to a dentist appointment but I do now!!! Thanks everybody.....Ron J

This was my first appointment and I had a great experience. My mother recommended this Dentist to me and I'm glad she did. It was the best experience I've ever had at a Dentist before. I am always nervous when visiting the dentist but that went away as soon as I stepped in the door. I felt comfortable there. The receptionist, the dentist and his assistants were all nice and friendly. Thanks!!!
I originally hunted down Academy Dental after finding info. that stated they understood total anxiety ridden patients. I needed lots of major work due to years of not going because of prior terrible painful experiences. Academy's staff treated me with total care and understanding and was able sedate me for any rough work. I still go there for maintenance , check ups and routine cleanings because Holly does not rush, but is extremely thorough and will take a break if I need a moment. I met with Dr. O'Shea yesterday ( I am a new patient ) for fillings and a new crown, I am petrified of needles due to another dentist . I just don't have good experiences with dentists :/ . He put me at ease and I did ok . The minute you walk in Academy Dental you are greeted by the most friendliest receptionist ( Brenda you are so kind ) Dr. O'Shea was wonderful as well as his assistant.
