My husband surprised me with the romance package for my birthday. At first, I had no idea where we were headed. But as we started to drive towards the trees, I saw an inn and restaurant. It was a wonderful change of pace from the city. The staff was very friendly. The room was cozy and the jacuzzi tub was AMAZING. Party of six for bday celebration. Waitress A+. We chose to dine in wine cellar (downstairs)- bad idea- too noisy. Was looking forward to enjoying prime rib but disappointed only one size offered (not all of us have 12 oz appetites)! I ordered medium rare but got rare (and was overly fatty). More surprises/disappointments: dinner rolls were generic (serving the kind OBI offers would be a welcomed improvement), mashed potatoes were haphazardly put on the plate (presentation lacking) and sweet potatoes for the vegetable? Our daughter had her wedding @ Longfellows this past Saturday, November, 4th! And her rehersal dinner was also held there, the night before... I can't say enough about the treatment we got...My daughters day was magical in every way...No detail was forgotten! Shout out to Gerri, who helped us with the planning...She made sure everything ran smoothly....she is simply the best!!! Thank you Gerri and Longfellows, for a fairytale wedding:) �

Our server was not personable at all. We had a party of 9. Would walk away as we still talked. Called me sir when obviously I am a woman. My chicken was burnt, by the time a new came out, everyone else was done eating. Not happy at all. Personally my spouse and I will never return, unsure about the rest of our party whom most weren't impressed as well.
