We had dinner at Longfellows this evening for my birthday. We have been coming here for years on my birthday and always had a great experience. Unfortunately tonight was somewhat disappointing. When we called to make the reservation we were asked if there was occasion and I told them for my birthday. In the past our waiter would mention the birthday and make the dinner special even putting a candle in dessert. Tonight, nothing, no acknowledgement about my birthday at all. My husband and I ate here tonight. Our waiter Brad was just fantastic! Very personable & great at his job. We had the romance package ( we are staying in the hotel) and there was more food included in our meal than we could even eat. We left with to go boxes. Everything was delicious!!!
