I was pleasantly surprised when I called Lombard Ford Warranty Dept. to inquire about a Ford ESP warranty for my 2020 Ford Escape. The same person answered my call that I had purchased a Ford ESP warranty from for my 2003 Ford F-150 in 2004 that I traded in last year on my new Escape. John (Jack) G***** was the same pleasant person. He helped me decide on the warranty that I needed. When you make an appointment, "there is no set schedule, expect to lose your vehicle for 2-3 days" words straight from the mouth of the owner himself. Do they tell you that when you make the appointment? No....do they give you a courtesy call? No....do they blame shift and try to make it your fault they have only one tech that is good enough to look at vehicles, YES!!!! Very unprofessional and rude, especially the owner Rob. They have zero respect for your time. Go elsewhere!!!

His vehicle came in for the second time with a check engine light and a code that needed a senior master tech to work on in order for it to be covered by Ford warranty. I was bringing it into the shop yesterday afternoon but he picked it up before I could get it in. I never blamed him for anything. I apologized that we didn't have time to get it in the day before but 2 jobs that our A tech had already been working on took a little longer due to a parts failure. I had a minor issue that was no fault of Lombard Ford. I reached out and Emma was able to correct it. Her customer service skills were outstanding. She seemed to have a real interest in helping me, and that doesn't seem to happen very often anymore when it comes to customer service.

These guys are snake oil salesman. I bought a Ford extended warranty which they were supposed to refund when I sold a vehicle. When I called to cancel the warranty, they said it would take two months to get a refund which I just accepted. Boy am I stupid. I contacted Fort today.. over t0 days later, and said that the dealership had been refunded almost immediately after cancellation of the policy.. ie 2 months ago. There is a accounting reconciliation process that takes place at the end of each business month when we receive our monthly statement from Ford. A list is then made of refunds to be issued and that list is transacted incrementally each week. This reconciliation process has been followed since the inception of our business.
I have purchased three Ford Protect Extended Service Plan Premium Care warranties for my Lincoln ********** after they have gone past their original factory warranty. I purchase the warranty and it already paid off today with the help of Jack due to my dealer not knowing how to correctly submit the part to ESP. I purchased an extended warranty from Emma. Emma was responsive, easy to talk to on the phone and efficient. Not only was the experience great, but the price was awesome.
