This center is a non-profit facility and a great for place for education, preservation and monitoring of one of the world's most active sea turtle nesting grounds. The center acts as a school, providing internships, tours and programs. Plus the park's amenities include a guarded beach, nature trails and picnic areas, but the main attractions are the leatherback sea turtles.

Very informative & loved seeing all the species! They even brought in a rescue while I was there.
It's a great place to take your kids. Especially the under 9 crowd. They can see sea turtles close up and do "hands on" turtle related educational activities. I've been taking my kids there for 7 years and they love it!
Turtleween was fantastic. There were so many activities. It was definitely geared towards children but parents enjoyed the day with games. The best part is knowing the proceeds go towards the rehabilitation of turtles.
