This center is a non-profit facility and a great for place for education, preservation and monitoring of one of the world's most active sea turtle nesting grounds. The center acts as a school, providing internships, tours and programs. Plus the park's amenities include a guarded beach, nature trails and picnic areas, but the main attractions are the leatherback sea turtles.

Always enjoy visiting, they really care about the work they are doing and love to educate others as well!
I am always pationet of nature, and my husband and I try to help out on nesting season, to inform to the turtle volunteers to protect the many nesting areas in our coast line of the town o Rincon, PR. I woul love my town volunteer group would have th experience to visit your facilaty to exchange knowledge. I wish it could be granted i the right time for all.
We visited last weekend. We have been to other turtle hospitals but none of them are as clean and neatly run as this one. As a hurricane approaches your coast, I worry about all the good people volunteering there and the important sea life you are taking care of. Be safe!!
