This center is a non-profit facility and a great for place for education, preservation and monitoring of one of the world's most active sea turtle nesting grounds. The center acts as a school, providing internships, tours and programs. Plus the park's amenities include a guarded beach, nature trails and picnic areas, but the main attractions are the leatherback sea turtles.

Loved visiting the center and learning about the different turtles that are recovering there as well as them working with the turtles giving them medicines and all through the viewing window. Great place!!!
We went on the guided turtle walk on Saturday night. We were fortunate that one mama was spotted early and we were able to witness her laying her eggs. The guides and volunteers who led this program are AWESOME. They are respectful to the turtle and us. They are very knowledgeable and shared it with the group. We encourage anyone who hasn't experienced a turtle walk to go.
The kids and I love to go here! The staff is so friendly and no matter how many times we go, we learn something new every time. 😃
This is a great place. We adopted Rudder and the entire family is excited about Rudders recovery!
