Great ice cream, terrible service. Should really work on customer service.
I've been coming to lofty pursuits for a few years now, and it's hands-down one of my favorite places to get treats in town. Which is why I feel really bad writing this review, and I want to state that the two stars are simply based on the staff, not the ice cream/ candy/ atmosphere. During the past 4 or 5 visits I've made, the customer service has been terrible. Wonderful people, great ice cream, Awesome breakfast, and of course there's the candy...yummy. It was very interesting and entertaining watching them make the roses and the blueberry candy! If you're ever in Tallahassee you definitely have to go here!
My wife and I went to check it out after multiple rave reviews from friends and family... As someone that has been in the restaurant business for a long time, I know the struggles a restaurant can have, especially doing something new. However, our entrees were cold. The server did try to remedy the situation by taking my omelet to zap in the microwave (my suggestion) for a minute, it still didn't help. We had to ask for flatware when our entrees were delivered.
