Named after the barbecue capital of Texas, Lockhart's BBQ serves up what they call "Detroit-style" barbecue, pulling their favorite aspects of all the different great BBQ regions and combining them into one. First off i wish i could give this place zero stars. Went there on 8/23/2020 for bunch with a friend, to use our birthday coupons. We asked to be seated in the patio area because the sun was out and it was a nice day. The hostess sat us at the only table without an umbrella, so when the sun moved towards us we were roasting. Not a good start. The waiter took our drink order and 15 minutes later my beer and my friend's ice tea came. It appeared they only had 2 waiters for the whole restaurant. False advertising. The bacon looks nothing like it does in the video. Sandy, the GM (that was the name we were told) is rude, pretentious, and incapable of understanding how to properly execute any form of customer service. She needs to be retrained. Correcting a regular is not effective or intelligent. Sounding understanding prior to an explanation and after is the most effective way to communicate to a consumer. Perhaps Sandy needs a seminar or further education.

Lockhart’s delivered today with an AMAZING Mother’s Day dinner. The smoked Prime Rib was one of the best prime ribs I’ve ever had. About to eat the chocolate cake and am sooo excited!!! Thank you for being open and making today so special!
