I have enjoyed Lock Stock & Barrel for over 30 years. Consistantly very good. A family favorite.
I'm from out of town and never get steaks because I am usually underwhelmed. Not here. This is my go to place when in Boise. Fair prices and delicious steaks in a chill and unpretentious atmosphere.
We came here for the first time for our wedding anniversary. Nice casual atmosphere and salad and soup bar. My wife ordered the filet medium and it came out red and cold in center. Sent it back and came back rare. Waitress blamed the lighting. My wife couldn't finish it. Ruined out night. She was in tears with disappointment. We won't be returning. A steak place should do steak perfect at least the second time!
I know it's not in the same place it was on Emerald and it under new management but it's still the best prime rib I've had so I say eat up treasure valley! !!
