Food was mediocre. Beer selection was great but my margarita was a 10.00 cup of ice! We'll go Mexican next time. 😒
Creative food and drinks! Great quality. Love the atmosphere. I ate here on Thursday evening. I would have given it 5 Stars except for our waiter. I ordered the filet mignon and told him I wanted it cooked pink. He said I should get medium well and I said I usually order medium. He said no... medium will be bright red. I went with his advice and when the meat came, it was cooked through and there was no pink in the center at all. I pointed this out to him and he offered to cook another one for me. After the stellar reviews, I was really excited to try Local Republic with my companion; it seems, after seeing such positive reviews, that our experience was anomalous. We had reservations and were seated promptly. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered appetizers -\-\ the tuna crudo and pimento cheese -\-\ and this is where things went south for us. Amazing food combos and flavors. Wait staff is knowledgeable. Nice to have fine farm-to-table cuisine in downtown Lawrenceville. Highly recommend this place. The move to a new location was a good choice--upscale atmosphere typically found in MidTown or Decatur.

Wow wow wow! We had two appetizers, a tuna crudo with avocado and pineapple, and braised lamb fries, complete with an egg on top. Both were fantastic. We split tonight's special, an 8oz filet. We were expecting a standard plate with steak and some mashed potatoes, but what we got was a huge cutting board full of deliciousness. This place is amazing! The menu is unique and soooooooo wonderful! I love chicken livers....but after eating them here I hate all others. Soooo delicious!!!
