Love the new location. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly and very helpful. I ordered the shrimp and grits (again!) and it was just as wonderful as I remembered. Fantastic view of the historic courthouse on the square in Lawrenceville, with the Christmas lights and decorations. Highly recommend!

I️ have been to Local Republic four times in the past year. I️ have never found the service or the food anything but outstanding. Each time, I️ ordered something different. The prices are good for this type of establishment and menu. Those with fast food appetites and budget will not appreciate.
Great mahimahi fish tacos! Unexpected seasoning in the rice and beans prompted me to swap out for the delicious cheese grits.
Fried green tomatoes, zucchini fritter, then Southern fried chicken - all fabulous with our beer flight! Attentive service without hovering.
