Had a wonderful experience with Loan Depot. They were fast and professional. They delivered everything I had hoped for.
Awful experience. Be prepared to send the same document 10 times (no exaggeration) with them acknowledging receipt and still not having when needed. Representives They play the blame game on each other. They come up with excuses to create more documentation outside of common sense. My loan did go through but experience was undeniably awful. I am still waiting on escrow to be paid to a contractor two weeks since the documentation was provided with no response from them.
We shopped around and Loandepot beat every quote we were offered. Quoting and rate process was excellent. Quick and easy. The member portal and signing documents was simple. Uploading the documents was easy. Being able to view all documents is a very valuable feature.

Loan Depot was very efficient in processing my purchase of a new home. We were able to close the deal in less than 30 Day. The seller had to submit an extension of the closing date because they were not ready.
So nice I did it THRICE.....yes three times. They were super fast, assist me with items needed and very friendly. Even texted me to get the loan completed. In fact, all fees waived if you refinance again with them...best thing since wheat bread toasted with avocado an lime honey!
The representatives I worked with were helpful. I enjoyed my interactions with the entire team. For the last part of the loan confirmation, as in the last day before closing, I requested more money on the loan. I wanted to cash out a couple thousand dollars more but they did not get back to me in time. I was willing to extend the closing date. I think there was a little confusion because of all the emails that were exchanged on my part.
Everything went smoothly until it was time for closing, it took 3 attempts to finally close the loan the first 2 attempts were canceled at the last minute do to your employees incompetence, you cost me over $285 in lost wages to be available for a closing that I was informed was canceled after the scheduled closing appointment, the last minute cancellation of the second appointment cost me over $450 in extra mortgage interest payments, even I informed my mortgage team they suddenly went silent.
