I am posting this review due to my negative experience as a tenant at Parkside Apartments, which is managed by LMS Management. After being reliable tenants for four years (2021–2025) and paying almost one hundred thousand dollars in rent over that time period, I was extremely disappointed by how move-out charges were handled. Moved out from one of their properties (Allier Port Wentworth) 4-5 months ago. Never got my deposits back, management of the property either ignore my emails or keeps telling me different stories. Tried to reach out to LMS as it is an owner of the property, but nobody answers the phone.
I’ve lived at Tower on Tenth for several years and was shocked by how management handled a sudden utility billing change. My lease clearly states that electricity is billed based on personal usage through a third-party system, yet I received notice that starting October 1, 2025, a new billing method would apply—raising my projected electricity cost to more than ten times my normal bill. This management company has been great to work with. They’re easy to reach, quick to respond, and always super helpful. They care about their residents and keep things running smoothly. The best in the business.
I’m here to echo concerns about timely security deposit returns from LMS owned properties. I moved out from Birmingham’s Tower on Tenth in January and my deposit has not been returned yet, in violation of Alabama state law. This seems to be a systemic problem, in addition to a lack of care and competent management at the properties themselves. Please consider carefully before renting from a property owned by LMS.
