My daughter is in her high school color guard and didn’t want to miss her next season because of scoliosis surgery. She had a 42 degree curve and being a brace for a year had not helped. After years of back pain and seeing doctors who did not really GET scoliosis, we were so grateful to finally find Dr. Hey. He recently performed T12-S1 surgery to correct my scoliosis, and I am pleased with the outcome. He is excellent at what he does, listens well, and has a great staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Hey and his clinic.

I was diagnosed with scoliosis while in middle school (1990). After carrying 4 babies, I visited Dr. Hey in 2019 knowing that my curve had begun moving again. I was in constant pain and felt myself slowing down because of it. I also had a significant hunch in my left shoulder and was afraid for my future. I highly recommend Dr. Hey! His office is clean and welcoming. The front desk staff are nice and are there to answer any questions. The Medical Assistants are professional and polite. The Physical Therapy department staff are there to help you whether for one appointment or several. Dr. Hey is direct and to the point. He he uplifting and yet he doesn't beat around the bush. I struggled over a year and a half with no explanation of where the horrible pain in my leg was coming from. I was sent from doctor to doctor during that entire time. Dr Hey's clinic discovered the problem almost immediately. Not long after I had a surgery with instant relief. Dr Hey and his staff are absolutely incredible and we thank God that we were able to meet them.
I've been in severe pain since the late 90's due to lower back pain. I went to Germany in 2006 and got some relief but not enough. I was recommended to see Dr Hey which I did and finally ended up with 2-level fusion in the lower back in Dec 2018. I can not emphasize enough what a blessing Dr Hey and his team has been for me. He has always been very professional and generous with his time, never rushing through any of my appointments which by the way seems rare these days. Where to begin with Dr. Hey and his staff. Let me start by saying, I'm a 32 yr. old F, and had spinal surgery at the age of 15. At the time, my parents flew me to 3 different Dr.'s in search of the best Dr for my scoliosis. They finally decided on a Dr. from Los Angeles, out of the Cedar Sinai hospital.
