Bring our wild horses home. They are acknowledged as an important part of our wildlife community. One of the endearing aspects of living on the mountain is our wildlife--and ESPECIALLY our wild horses

Hauling off the horses from the Ruidoso area based on ONE OR TWO complaints, verses an entire community loving the fact of having wild/returned to the wild horses in a swift cloak-and-dagger operation sure doesn't seem to be a good move for good relations with the public, aka tax payer. It appears that the Board anticipated trouble, since I never heard before that it acted so prompltly. Sign of guilt or cowardice?

Why does one woman who is NOT even a property owner in Lincoln County have the power to round the Alto Wild horses up and have them hauled off???? I feel something illegal has happened here??? These horses need to be returned to their home and this person needs to keep the gate to her property closed! We know what end will come to these beautiful animals and it is not fair Money going in someones pocket illegally??

Who is allowed to bait and trap wild horses and have them hauled off? What kind of agency allows this? Please get these horses back on their homeland ASAP.
