About this business

Got a craving for some authentic deep dish pizza? This hip, fresh joint has food of tantalizing tastes to satisfy even the most jaded pizza enthusiast. Try the Mediterranean chicken pizza, or try the vegetarian pizza, which will have you converted in no time. Little Star also offers thin crusts, which are, honestly, just as good as the incredibly taste-infused deep dishes for which they are famous. With minimalist decor and a blaring jukebox to boot, Little Star will have you hooked.

Good food – Went there on Wednesday night and didn't have to wait for a four top. Ordered the "classic" deepdish and a thincrust and both were tasty. I wouldn't say it's better than Zachary's, but it's just as good in it's own way. Not as buttery as some have described. The service was disappointing. Maybe our waitress had an off night. She was fine at first, but towards the end of our meal, we were rushed as they kept hounding and asking if we were done every three minutes. Literally. When the kitchen is a little "behind" a... read more

Deep Dish Heaven – Its nice to have more restaurants in the area! The deep dish pizza is the way to go. Also, the salads are large servings and cheap - a great starter to split with a partner. A great lilttle gem on Divis...

DO NOT order a thin crust pizza here!!! – Ordered a large thin crust potato, red bell pepper, gorganzola pizza for $22. What a disappointment. There was barely any toppings and although the dough and the sauce were decent it was way overpriced. Noticed that everyone else was eating deep dish pizzas and that's what this place is famous for. Willing to try that next time. But thin crust lovers beware it's an overpriced pie with little flavor or creativity. Decor is quite spartan and feels like they got everything on sale from ... read more

Great Pizza & Great Drink Specials!!!! – This place is great. I love Chicago style pizza and the food was amazing. The chicken wings were also very good. The food is great and the prices are awesome. This is a great place to take a group and not spend a lot of money. Try the champagne mixed drinks. They are outstanding. They unfortunately kept screwing up my bill, but I will forgive them since the food was so good.

Focus on the 'Za – Although this isn't your standard pizza or pizza joint, it's a great place to remember that pizza could quite possible be the perfect food. Good tunes surround you as you choose from PBR cans to hearty stouts on draft and wine by the glass, but the real focus is the deep-dish Pizza. The crispy and buttery crust is AMAZING and the heaping fresh toppings were equally appealing. We loved the Little Star with spinach, onions, garlic (but not too much), ricotta, feta, and additional sausage--but the other optio... read more

FINALLY!!! – Finally reason to eat Pizza in SF. Yes there are good spots, but nothing great and both deep dish & thin crust rock. While hard to compare to legends (Zachary's) I'm just estatic I don't need to cross the bridge as often. Damn I wish they delivered...

the path to enlightenment – When dining here, even the dorkiest Marina person will be transformed to ultimate coolness. The mutterings of the dullest stock trader, metamorphosed into romantic whispers. A nice place.
