The constant 52-degree temperature makes this an enjoyable attraction even in the heat of summer. The interesting history, and mystery surrounding the only caverns in North Carolina will make this a memorable adventure. A definite geological wonderland, be sure to bring your camera, a jacket and your curiosity. Guided tours leave every few minutes, so there is ample opportunity to catch a tour.

oldie but a goodie
My family had a wonderful time exploring Linville Caverns this past weekend! The family friendly tour was perfect for all of our children, from 9 years old to 7 months old. Our tour guide, Gabby, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the caverns and provided a great tour that created a memorable experience for our family that we will remember for years to come!
simplicity and beauty at it's best!
Really fun & a must do experience. Gift shop is excellent. It has a lot to choose from & has the best prices we have found anywhere on the mountain. Will definitely come back.
The tour itself was pretty short. You'll spend more time in the gift shop trying to check out than you will in the Caverns. Didn't see one bat. The tour guide was VERY knowledgeable and entertaining and they are trying to protect the bats that get out from White Nose Disease. Most of the fish are gone due to otters getting into the Caverns. Groups are small and if you don't get there early you will have to wait for the group ahead of you to walk past.
Stunning views and Danielle was extremely knowledgable, she really cares about her job :)
Hubby and I took the tour and I must say it was well worth the $9 per adult to take the short tour through the caverns. Nice gift shop with pretty good prices. Also had nice clean bathrooms. Everyone was very friendly!!
Awesome experience! The caverns are so neat and our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun :) thanks for taking extra precautions for the bats🦇
We had a great time! Our tour guide, Heather, was very nice, informational, and was able to answer all of our questions. The caverns are beautiful! After our tour we stopped in the gift shop. One of the items we bought wasn't in our bag but we didn't realize it until the next day. We went back and barely had to explain what had happened before they gave us the item we had purchased. No hassle, arguments, proof of receipt, nothing. They were so nice!! I could sit in their gift shop for hours, there are so many beautiful items... read more
