I took a friend for his birthday to Linger Lodge. He's a snowbird from Michigan, had never been there. All was very good, service was perfect, my crab cakes, I wished were made of chunky meat instead of shredded but otherwise was good, my collard greens were a bit salty for my taste. My friend ordered pork barbecue ribs, which he said was delicious. There was so much that he brought half of them home for his dinner the next day. I have heard of this restaurant in the past. I had company from the East Coast who can be fussy. Our wait staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We were not sure how spicy the gumbo was so the waitress brought us a sample. Everything was delicious and the bathrooms were clean. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Fantastic and surreal experience! Food is excellent! Getting there by boat overlooking the tropical jungle look Braden River! One almost expected Humphrey Bogart from Casablanca to be the next person seated at a nearby table! Five stars Linger!! Thanks for the experience!! Oh!!! And get this!! It had been 18 months since our last visit to the states from the UK!! And our waitress even remembered us!!!!
Menu is very interesting who was very good location is a little hard to fine but all in all I liked it
Really unique place. New renovations really shine up the place. Terrific food. Catfish is delicious as was the alligator bouillabaisse. Nice to get a Bloody Mary fresh made with lots of horseradish instead of premixed.
Blackened frog legs + Old Bay chips + Slaw + Hush Puppies were fantastic. Loved the atmosphere and the service. LIke my husband said, Sergio needs a raise!
Not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from. My entire extended family dined here last week and had a wonderful experience. Food was excellent (I had blackened gator bites - my wife had the frog legs). Everything tasted superb, especially the broccoli coleslaw!
