After living in multiple states and having had many dermatologists over the years I can say without question that Dr. Ackerman is the best all around professional for sure. She is a pleasure to deal with, shares information in clear concise terms, is very patient-care focused and makes you have confidence in her ability to deliver treatments. Dr. Ackerman has been my dermatologist since I first moved here to metro Phoenix in Oct 2013. When Dr. Bloomberg first recommended her as my dermatologist I was concerned because the drive from where I live was a good 45 min+ each way. He told me that she was worth the drive. I soon found out how right he was. Much as I hate Phoenix traffic, seeing her is totally worth the long drive . I have been seeing Dr. Ackerman for years. She has done great work keeping me healthy and cancer free. She is whip smart, warm and funny. She is the only doctor I look forward to seeing. She rocks!
Dr Ackerman is an amazing physician that has an amazing fund of knowledge of all kinds of conditions. I was misdiagnosed for 6 years by many doctors until I went to a specialist that admitted he never saw anything like my leg before.
