Dr. Ackerman has been my dermatologist since I first moved here to metro Phoenix in Oct 2013. When Dr. Bloomberg first recommended her as my dermatologist I was concerned because the drive from where I live was a good 45 min+ each way. He told me that she was worth the drive. I soon found out how right he was. Much as I hate Phoenix traffic, seeing her is totally worth the long drive . Dr Ackerman is very kind and approachable and eager to answer any questions you may have. She is very thorough, and has treated me on many occasions with great success!
I have been seeing Dr. Ackerman for years. She has done great work keeping me healthy and cancer free. She is whip smart, warm and funny. She is the only doctor I look forward to seeing. She rocks!
Dr Ackerman is an amazing physician that has an amazing fund of knowledge of all kinds of conditions. I was misdiagnosed for 6 years by many doctors until I went to a specialist that admitted he never saw anything like my leg before. He took a picture of it on his cell phone, sent it to Dr Ackerman and within 2 hours I had a diagnosis and treatment started. My significant other was treated for psoriasis most of his adult life.
