She was attentive and easy to communicate with. She listened and explained things well. She was patient and asked if I had any questions
We started seeing Dr. Ackerman soon after she began practicing. We flew from the Caribbean for our appointments. Then we moved to the Oregon Coast and continued with her. We will not change dermatologists EVER. We fly to Arizona twice a year for our regular checkups and whatever else is needed. I have been going to Dr. Ackerman for a year now. She is thorough, knowledgeable, and explains things thoroughly. At a time when physicians are always pressed for time she never hesitates to slow down and answer your concerns.

In addition to Dr. Ackerman’s solid knowledge and her ability to explain complicated medical terms to the patient, she is very personable and very client centered. An example being she volunteered to do my yearly exam at an appointment made to check out a troublesome spot. The spot was nothing, but she caught pre- cancerous cells on my nose which had just appeared. Thank you Dr Ackerman!
