The Doctor was professional, pleasant, patience and answered all of my questions with clear and concise answers.

My appt with KCUC was canceled 4 times, 2x on the day of the appt. I was told I would be called back to make soonest appt. available. I was never called. When I called the next appt was a month away. I started working on an appt. in December 2020 and finally had an appt. June 22, 2021. On June 22nd, a bladder tumor, probably malignant was found. I wonder how much smaller the tumor would have been had my original appt, had not been canceled.
Dr. Hertzig is so educated and compassionate! She listens and explains things in a way patients can understand. Amazing surgeon!
Dr. Hertzig was absolutely terrible. DO NOT book an appointment with her. My husband saw her for a vasectomy, she never went over after care or what to expect. His testicles swelled to the size of a baseball and we had no idea if this was normal because she never told us what was normal vs abnormal. All she said to my husband was “just lay around for a few days, we’ll see you at your check up”. Absolutely horrible. Don’t waste your time. Go to a urologist who actually cares about their patients. Excellent with diagnosis, excellent during surgery and excellent in follow up one year later. What more to say?
I have seen Dr. Hertzig 10 times over the last four years. Two of those visits were for procedures. She seems to be an excellent surgeon. This doctor listens closely and explains things well. She speaks slowly and makes you feel you are the only one on her schedule for that day. She also asks at each visit if you have any questions of her. I am grateful for her care and expect to have her as my physician for many years to come.
Dr. Hertzig and her urology partners have been the worst examples of patient care I have ever been subjected to. She neglected to meet with my husband after my cystoscopy, as was promised, leaving him and I confused and unaware of the surgical outcome. Another physician in this practice was supposed to see me while I was in the hospital and never showed up. No bedside manner, no empathy to patient’s pain & simply unacceptable office/practice service. Beware of this physician and urology practice
I would recommend Dr. Hertzig to anyone! She is extremely thorough and detailed. My mother has been a patient of hers for quite a while and has undergone several procedures. Dr.Hertzig is not only excellent at what she does but she is kind and personable! I would highly recommend this doctor!
