Dr. Hertzig is a great doctor, she listens carefully, asks questions to make sure she has a full understanding and then makes great recommendations. She is always thinking about overall health and how it can be improved and not just the individual issue I come to see her about. Highly recommended.

My appt with KCUC was canceled 4 times, 2x on the day of the appt. I was told I would be called back to make soonest appt. available. I was never called. When I called the next appt was a month away. I started working on an appt. in December 2020 and finally had an appt. June 22, 2021. On June 22nd, a bladder tumor, probably malignant was found. I wonder how much smaller the tumor would have been had my original appt, had not been canceled.
Dr. Hertzig is so educated and compassionate! She listens and explains things in a way patients can understand. Amazing surgeon!
Dr. Hertzig was absolutely terrible. DO NOT book an appointment with her. My husband saw her for a vasectomy, she never went over after care or what to expect. His testicles swelled to the size of a baseball and we had no idea if this was normal because she never told us what was normal vs abnormal. All she said to my husband was “just lay around for a few days, we’ll see you at your check up”. Absolutely horrible. Don’t waste your time. Go to a urologist who actually cares about their patients.
