Went to see Linda Pai, md at St. Anthony Hospital surgical clinic in Gig Harbor. For hernia repair , she only sat at computer 10 feet away. I am 71 years old and don't want general anesthesia because it can affect your memory also can affect eye pressure. She only pushed 'da Vinci' robot surgery under general anesthesia. I want local repair under local anesthesia. She totally dismissed my concerns and NEVER examined me ! Dr Pai is without a doubt the best Doctor I've ever had. She saved my life and I will be forever indebted (unless my insurance company gets off their collective A$$@! and gets her bill paid) to her for the skill and bedside manner with which she operates.
Dr. Pai is an amazing surgeon. She explains procedures well, ensures necessity of surgeries and is an amazing doctor. There are always risks with surgeries but during my hernia repair I felt confident that I was in good hands.
She almost killed me and now body will never be the same. She was kind. But doesn't change the fact that she messed up and there's nothing we can do about it now.

I had a first visit with Dr. Pai today. She is fantastic. Best experience I've had with CHI. She listens compassionately, is genuinely interested in the patient's experience and was a true partner in creating a follow up plan. I highly recommend Dr. Pai!
