Comfortable and welcoming.
I have an EXTREMELY complex medical history, and bounced between incompetent PCPs for years. I started seeing Dr. Ika in 2017, and she has been the most thorough and compassionate provider. She knows what she's doing, and when something is wrong she gets straight to doing complete workups. I was septic, and she followed my reports the whole hospitalization - even checking on through messages. No good
New PCP was a disgrace to medical profession last year. Called ahead to explain my difficulty helping my son to his appt. He could barely walk. He was in pain, symptoms were evident & we were tardy by 25 minutes. She refused to see him even after the M.A. saw the poor condition he was in. I asked to speak with her,she called me on my cell in waiting room.Told me she was busy and had to leave early. I explained this appt.was a referral from an E.R. visit. She told me to go elsewhere.
