Unfriendly staff confusing layout unable to keep appointments... I highly recommend any where else
I have never been so upset, my father is currently here for a spine infection. Going on four weeks, they have no idea what’s going on. Nurses didn’t know he can’t walk, can’t go to bathroom, blood infection, there not doing anything! On top of him being diabetic he’s lying in the bed rotting away cause they are not rotating him so he’s getting sores. The doctor yet has done a thing besides antibiotics and he is becoming worse and having trouble moving. I’m beyond upset requested transfer 12 times and was shot down Everytime.... read more

RecommendedI love umass doctors and nurses however your security and screeners need to learn how to read and follow what your rules say not make up their own. If you are going to put up multiple poster sized pics of the rules you should make sure it’s correct before you put it up for all to see. These signs do NOT say one visitor at a time it simply says 3 visitors per day. For your security to banned someone for visiting because your sign is wrong is bs
Terrible experience with my uncle being here. Not enough staff per patient ratio. AIDS and nurses answer the call bell and never come to the room. How does someone fall on a 1:1 and then the nurses tell my family 48 hours later?? Scheduled for a procedure and they give him food??? So procedure is cancelled this is after the last procedure kept being pushed off. The mains critically ill!!!! They refuse IV fluids even though he’s dehydrated. Terrible. U want good care go to St V or Boston! DPH should be called.
RecommendedHuge shout out to the Trauma Team, Cardio surgical team, cardio doctors and residents,6ICU especially Kathy and Pauline and last but not least the step-down team and life coach. I can't thank you enough for the outstanding services received by all. The care and compassion received was absolutely amazing ❤❤❤❤
This place IS an absolutely horrible place to have surgery. They hacked up my best friend not just once, but three times. They sent her home when she wasn’t ready twice and made her come back for yet another surgery both times. Also said she needed a 4th surgery which luckily didn’t happen. Finally after 22 days she can go home with an antibiotic IV because of a bacterial infection they triggered from doing so many surgeries.
