Well, yikes. When I called to make the appointment, the person I spoke with wasn’t particularly friendly, and I ended up hanging up. She couldn’t understand what I was saying. My last name and address aren’t easy to spell out, and I do have an accent, but still—it was quite ridiculous. Apparently, they gave me an appointment anyway, because I received a reminder to sign paperwork weeks later. Great Doctor! Dr. Schaub was outstanding and talked to me so that I could understand him clearly about my medical issue. Beware that going to this office is not considered a specialist visit and is billed through the Hospital which caused me to pay extra off my deductible. Billing at both BCBS and Brown Medical both confirmed that his office bills through hospital and is considered a hospital visit since it is an off-site clinic in office building. I called in advance to get information about my appointment copay dial the number listed first person answer no greeting no place identification once I stated my need she very rudely answer " I don't answer questions for that place" I'll transfer you then Lory answer the phone no greetings no place identification stated my question again and the answer was " I don't know you will get a bill" I haven't been on appointment I just can't imagine how the experience will be more to come.......
Dr. Little is a good doctor but Brown Health is now billing routine specialist visits at this office as hospital visits. The reason they gave me is that this office is "part of the hospital even if it's not in the hospital." What? Just be aware that you'll pay extra money here.
