Never had any problems I've had to call Liberty Cab Co a few times to get me from Manayunk to the airport, and they've always been on time and very courteous. The drivers have always been friendly, as well. With flight cancellations over the winter, I had to call them on two consecutive days to pick me up and take me to the airport and I had a perfect experience both days. Highly recommended.
Liberty Cab Co is beyond terrible Driver and dispatcher are rude, late, and argumentative. Because of them, we missed our plane. This company should have its license revoked. Avoid use no matter what.
Horrible service If I could give this business 0 stars I would. The lady that answer my call was rude as anything. She hung up even before I could ask her a question. I had to wait half an hour for a taxi to come. I left my phone in the cab and I had to call at least 14 times before the driver finally answered. And his excuse was that he would give me a call later. I called a couple more times to ask for his taxi number and he never answered. Crooks! Was gouged $10 for a $5 fare!! Went from the Sheraton on 17th and Race to the Reading Terminal Market...THE LONG WAY!!...even when we asked why he went by the correct street! Cab #D043. Had made the trip 2 other times with a different cab co and did not get fleeced. I plan to report this to anyone and everyone that will listen. This is criminal...and no way to be treating tourists!
Liberty Cab Co Needs Drivers Ed. CAB P946 almost killed 3 people on 16th at Walnut today...he was at least 50 feet away from the intersection when the light turned red ...and sped-up and honked as he narrowly missed hitting people crossing the street!
Dispatchers incompetent and rude If I could rate this NO STARS, I would. I called Liberty dispatcher and asked for a cab to pick me up at a specific time. She brusquely interrupted me by asking for my phone number and said they would call me, but gave no indication she had even heard what my request. Sure enough, I called back 15 minutes later â 5 minutes AFTER the asked-for pick-up time - and I spoke to the SAME woman, who said she had no record of my earlier call!? Courteous driver, prompt resonse My experiences with Liberty Cab have always been delightful. Often during rush hour I am frantically calling different cab companies and comparing the waiting time. Liberty Cab has proved to always service me promoptly and I have not waited for a taxi cab from them for more than ten minutes. Liberty Cab did a great job last evening for me. Friends of mine were clamoring to get a taxi last night after dinner in our house. I called Quaker Cab which I had used before but the cab never showed up. When I called Quaker to cancel my reservation, the man hung up on me instantly. His rudeness sent me to a rage. I agree with Erica...I had the nastiest dispatcher last week...and I had the same experience...they call and you're literally standing on your front porch and there's no cab there....they tell you that they are waiting....it's totally nuts...it's as though you are working for them. When I called to complain, I was kept on hold for more than 10 minutes until I gave up. I called from a different number, and they took my call immediately...very poorly run on every level.
