Fabulous – Love this Salon. The stylists are great and the place has a lot of charm. If you are looking for the very best this is it.
Salon is ok the Spa is awful – I have been going to Letoile for many months and find the styling and color pretty good,but their idea of a Spa has left me cold. I recently tried this Spa and was very dissapointed. The massage was barely passable and the place is small and having to walk to the top floor is not very attractive. The manager of their Spa was quite cold and unfriendly. I don't recommend the Spa at all.
One Good, One Bad – The first time I went here, I walked in. Sarah did my hair. I wanted to go lighter and asked for her advice. I ended up hating my hair. It was lighter but it looked awful with my skin tone. The cut was too short. The total price was still over $150 with tips. Great massage – This spa was the only place I trusted to get a massage at. I got it with Robin and she not only did her job, but made sure to spend extra time on areas that needed work. Too bad she is not there anymore. The rest of massage therapist are good, but this one was the best. Does anybody know where she moved?
best hair colorist – Salon L'etoile was a great expierence. Maria is the best colorist I ever went to in my life. She is so friendly and an amazing eye for color.
Highly recommended salon – I've been going here for about 2 years and I love it. Great haircut by stylists who know what they're doing and great color as well. The best part is getting a high end style without paying high end prices. This may be a main st-manayunk salon - but it's not main st-manayunk prices. (This is not to say that it's cheap, but it's affordable. Hair cut is around $45-50 and highlights are around $85.) Terrible – What else is there to say. This place is just awful. I have rarely been treated so rudely and to make it worse the styling was not only very poor,but they kept me waiting for over 45 minutes.
Excellent Haircut--Excellent Salon! – Mike G cut my hair and it looked fabulous! I got so many compliments! -- many many more than I've ever had after a haircut before. It's a really beautiful salon as well and everyone there - from the moment I walked in the door til I left-- was very friendly. I would definitely recommend getting your hair cut or styled there!
As bad as it gets – Terrible,awful,disgusting is all I can say about both the services at this so called spa,as well as the way I was treated when I had the audacity to complain. The massage therapist acted as if he was on another planet-he could hardly speak,the esthetician was almost as bad-a bit better,but when I went and cpomplained they told me "try elsewhere maybe you'll like it better".
