THE STORY OF LENNY’S: Family Owned and Operated for over 40 Years ​My father, Joseph DeCandia, was born in Bari, Italy and came to America in 1956 at the age of 18. He took odd jobs as a dishwasher, a baker and a butcher. In 1958 he took a job at “Lenny’s Pizza” in Brooklyn on 86th Street where he started to learn the pizza business. We had my mothers Surprise 70th Bday here and the Food and Service was excellent, we didn't have to do a thing, But eat, it gave time to talk with family and Drink. The room was big and you can see the water from the big window in room.. We had Mozzarella sticks, Clams, Eggplant Parm, Chicken Parm, fillet of sole, steak, Penne Alla Vodka ,The veal and everything was Excellent!
