THE STORY OF LENNY’S: Family Owned and Operated for over 40 Years ​My father, Joseph DeCandia, was born in Bari, Italy and came to America in 1956 at the age of 18. He took odd jobs as a dishwasher, a baker and a butcher. In 1958 he took a job at “Lenny’s Pizza” in Brooklyn on 86th Street where he started to learn the pizza business. I can't express how wonderful the food and service is. I am treated like Family everytime I walk in the door. Joe is a sweetheart and the staff is awesome! Especially the waitress Kelly :) My family and I will always recommend Lenny's Clam Bar and keep this as our family spot for good food and excellent service :) thank you Joe

This place is horrible it needs to be shut down the health department has to investigate privately the owner abuses workers who refuse to make people sick with people's scraps and using molded crushed up bread for the bake clams and so much more going on here this is so heart breaking he doesn't deserve to be called a owner of a restaurant where we put our trust on a good meal and a great night out @lennys_clam_bar

Service was horrible, food was horrible, best thing was the family next to us. Highly overrated, didn't understand why people would wait in line. They put the water pitcher where my food was supposed to go, really
