Because I was promised I would be able to make principle balance payments and up to Feb 2019, I was able to do that. Now they say they have “turned off” that option. So what they’re calling my “extra payments” are being divided between principle and interest. From Nov 2018 to Feb 2019, I had no issues. But since I cannot make principle balance payments, I cannot get it paid off sooner. So I will be looking into moving my loan. Very unhappy. Very.
