You can never go wrong with Duckworth’s fish and chips, always worth a visit when in the area. I grew up in East York and Duckworth’s was always where we went, I’m happy to share the experience with my daughter. The drive from Innisfil is always worth it!
Best fish and chips in TO. I got the halibut and it was phenomenal. Good portions sizes and the staff is very friendly. I totally recommend it
The fish and chips were decent, but the overall experience was disappointing. I called in an order and picked it up, only to realize when I got home that the gravy was missing. When I called, the owner offered something extra on a future visit, but there was little effort to address the inconvenience at the time. Mistakes happen, but customer service is what makes the difference. Unfortunately, the way this was handled left a poor impression, and I won’t be returning.
First time here, Amazing quality of fish. Best fish and chips in the city. Portion sizes run a bit small. Id get a second piece for 14$ next time. Their tartar sauce is homey and delicious, definitely made in-house. You cant find that quality on store shelves. They give you the entire squeeze bottle to not some tiny packets you see at other locations. Its a far drive for me but cant wait to be back.
