Was referred to Dr. Goldstein for a consult on cataract surgery. I had a lot of anxiety about this surgery and shared that with the nurse or assistant we spoke with first. This was relayed to the doctor. When she came in, she was immediately combative and not at all reassuring. She did not explain the condition or options and when we asked questions, she was short and rude with her responses. Be prepared to wait...a long time. I have seen Dr Khator twice. The first time for a glaucoma screening in August 2020 and yesterday 3/31/21 for a re-check. The first appointment took well over two hours, including a late start and a lot of waiting. Yesterday, I arrived on time at 9:30. I sat in the waiting room for 35 minutes before being taken back. Waited 4.5 hours, I was the last patient, she spent just 3 minutes, lacked concern and care.Didn’t discuss the drops I was on. She did not bother to ask any questions, nor thorough Exam, even though I was visiting her after 8 months. I was just a number on her chart. Disappointing experience.

Dr. Gabianelli did a great job on my cataract surgery. I had lost a lot of color perception over an extended period of time and also found it very difficult to drive at night. My color perception came back instantly after surgery. I couldn't believe how vivid everything was. I am also able to drive at night again without suffering from so much glare from oncoming headlights. The staff were also very helpful and professional. Overall it was an excellent experience.

Would definitely not recommend this practice. While Dr. Khatoor herself was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable during consultation the entire experience has been a downhill. The very first appointment had to sit in the waiting room for 3 hours before they finally admitted they are running late... BY 3 HRS?!?! Then the preventive glaucoma surgery has gone horribly wrong for me. I see 3 images of everything now. Called them and the practice has been less then caring about any of this experience. TLC Laser Eye Centers is absolutely incredible. I had the procedure done yesterday, felt great yesterday, went in for my checkup today and have better than 20/20 vision! I have 20/15 vision THE NEXT DAY after my procedure and feel zero pain. He took a phone call during the visit, talked to the caller for 5 mins, poked around my eye for 90 seconds, told his assistant he “couldn’t see anything” even though my eye was obviously infected, stood up and said “don’t worry, we’ll get you taken care of”, he leaves. Looking back on it I think he showed laughably bad manners zero competence as a physician, but I was furious at the time.
