Lady at front desk in April, at my appointment that I didn’t owe anything and my insurance would take care of it. A month or so later I received a bill for half amount due to her no longer taking BCBS. I was shocked! My wife has been going to her dentist for over 30 years and they told her a year in advance that BCBS was no longer accepted. I’ve asked them to write off the 90 bucks, I’m on social security and Medicare and it would be appropriate since no fault of mine. I had been going there for years and had been using my same insurance. I needed a big procedure done, and got ready for it. They always run my insurance before and then tell me the total, and I assumed this would be the same. The bill seemed much larger than usual, but it was a big procedure, so I had the work done and paid for it. Afterwards checking with my insurance I didn’t see the claim. Arriving at my appointment I gave them this years insurance card they copied it and then performed my maintenance. At checkout I tried to pay my usual $35 copay, they insisted I pay the entire bill and then told me they didn't accept my insurance any more. I feel they should have told me when confirming the appointment or at least when I gave them my insurance card at check in. I have been their client for a couple of years but would never have kept the appointment if they had told me of the change.

I have been going to Dr. Hovious for a number of years. She did graphs on my gums, both upper and lower. She did a wonderful job and i still go back to her office semi annually for check ups. Her office staff is also very friendly. My mouth is in Much better shape than it was before I started going to her.

Dr. Hovious is a great periodontist with also a kind heart. Because my daughter needed to see her before school one day, Dr. Hovious opened her office early just so we could be seen. Very professional and great at what she does!

Dr. Hovious did a below the gum line laser surgery for my periodontal disease, and I couldn't be more pleased. The entire staff is so caring, and managed to really ease my fear of dental procedures. She answered all of my questions and concerns, and never made me feel silly for asking (even though I was a nervous wreck at our consultation). I still go there for my cleanings, and always leave smiling. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a specialist.

Dr Hovious is a wonderful kind person and is top notch in her field. Her staff is also great!!! She did bone grafts, dental implants and gum surgery on me. The experience was awesome afterwards with Dr Hovious being my doctor. Trust me she is a great doctor and cares about her patients .
