Excellent Indian food and fine dishwear + decor to add to the experience.
The one in east falls is deff not worth ordering from compared to main st ... we ordered a ton of food and mines had like 5 pieces of lamb for 43$ for two people we'd expect 43$ worth of food ... feel like we were ripped off
Poor service. Somewhere between ordering and delivery of food to table, someone didn't listen to us...people who ordered spicy got bland, and vice versa. Very disappointing. Slow to clear overcrowded table, fill water glasses, or supply silverware (even after food arrived.) The good ratings surprise me...maybe we came on a bad night of multisystem failure?
Ate here this summer. Food was just lousy. Real hot but no real flavor.
Great service and everything was delicious. Even though my fiancé doesn't usually have Indian, he really enjoyed his Shrimp Biryani and the side of mango chutney ordered was a great addition to our meals. I love lamb and opted for tandoor cooked because I liked the flavors with chicken. All meals had nice medium spice. I also fell in love with Masala tea!

I've been to most of the indian restaurants in and around philly and laxmi's food is among the best. They have a lunch special even on weekends - get the meat Thali which is a combo of three dishes (chicken tikka masala, chicken or lamb kadhai, and chana masala), with rice, naan, papadums, and dessert included. Fabulous food the decor was great. Krishna all around making the dining experience Auspicious. The staff was fantastic. Go soon. Loved it!!
