Waited in the ER for 10 hours, as we listened to the nurses bitch about each other behind the desk, and the "doctor" ( Short blonde hair, early-mid 50s, thin) who was supposed to be seeing us, having non-work related unprofessional conversations for 45 mins at a time give or take, giving hugs and kisses to other nurses, and the 2 times she spoke to us during the entire duration of our stay was completely uncaring, absolutely nothing was done and we were sent home with a couple days worth of useless pills. Loaded with druggies and people from nursing homes. Never made it to a room. Hallway 7 plus hours with a concussion/brain trauma and tailbone injury. Druggie in bed next to us peed on floor heavily. Came over to our bed. The nurses seemed to not be able to keep track of what was going on with patients & this creates mistakes. Never seen such a dirty and disorganized ER in my whole life. Stay away!

In the past three weeks I've been at L&M for a total knee replacement in their excellent Orthopedic dept, the ER for a sprained ankle and the ICU for sudden onset angioedema. In all cases, the staff was friendly, professional and helpful. The ICU group was extremely attendant to my every need. The ER admission was somewhat slow but it was a very busy day with lots of people coughing their heads off.
