They are very rude and tip toe around and very rude to people in need. They go around and be telling your business to a lot of people that doesn't need to know and talk junk behind your back. My mom went to the hospital and was sick and told her shut up your not sick go home and then found her past out on the floor the years later had a serious stomach problem and then send her home at 4 in the morning and told her you're not sick shut up go home worst hospital in history
The out-patient private practice of the Lawrence + Memorial (L + M) chain, the Pequot Health Center in Groton, has the warmest staff EVER with a beautiful hospital clinic, and they are open 24/7. I strongly DISLIKE Lawrence and Memorial (L+M) Hospital in New London right by my college campus as they have VERY long waiting hours (and aren't open 24/7), it looks like a garage shack, and the staff aren't as warm as the Pequot Health Center's in Groton.
I had my baby girl delivered on Saturday at L&M. The nurses are wonderful, very knowledgeable, going the extra mile to make sure that you are comfortable, they came very quickly after you call them, had lots of help with breastfeeding and taking care of my daughter. The room assigned was clean, comfortable, had all the supplies at hand, the food was very good and lots of options for everybody taste, my husband was given a bed next to my bed, my daughter was in the room with us, the nurses were only at a call button away. Nurses are caring and dedicated, physician face time is lacking. Be Warned if you go to the ER anytime after 10PM and before 8AM you will get a bill for after hours service even if a true emergency.
