My husband had an appointment with Dr. Lawrence at his Port Jefferson location in March 2012. I told the staff when I set up the appointment that my husband has very sensitive teeth, that we would only be going for a consultation to see what needed to be done, and set up appointments for dental work from there. We got there and the doctor made us feel very rushed. He took my husband back while I stayed in the waiting room to fill out paper work. One thing that's. It is so refreshing to see a provider that you can tell truly cares about their appearance. But the assistant smelled like a ash tray, obviously she had just smoked The music was rock which I found not sothing at all. I would never go back i have called them on several occasions in regards to my pre determinatin that I have recieved, They didnt even send xrays, AHH hello u dont know this>? Did the staff call you to remind you about your upcoming appointment? No, but I didn't need a reminder Were you able to watch TV during your dental procedure? No, I was very disappointed Does this provider treat their staff well? Kind of, but not very well Did you experience unnecessary pain during your visit? No Did this dentist offer you anesthetic when appropriate? Yes, they offered me anesthetic when appropriate

Did this provider answer all of your questions? None of my questions were answered Was this provider's staff friendly? Yes Did you leave the office feeling satisfied with your visit? No, I felt confused and uneasy when I left Was this provider's office easy to locate? Absolutely! It couldn't have been easier! Are you going to visit this provider again? Not if my life depended on it

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. DON'T use this guy, he refuses to talk to you on the phone, and will not make an appointment to discuss options. He only lets his staff talk to you about personel issues. This dentist is a joke. I went there with a bump on my lip. His advice was to "bite it off, that's what I did!" Turns out I needed oral surgery to remove it. Then, there was some discoloration on my tooth after he bonded it. He made me feel like I was crazy, was completely rude, and while I was pointing it out to him and talking about it, he left the room and yelled "SHE'S DONE" to the receptionist. So rude. Worst dentist on the planet.

avoid if you can, installed crown which broke after permanently installed while sitting in the chair, would not refund the money, doesn't want to fix it, worst dentist i dealt with my entire life
