Met Dr Woll for the first time. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Listened to my concerns, etc. However I agree with some of the other reviewers who mentioned privacy was not a concern. People came in and out for various reasons during my exam, barging in with no courtesy knock. Seems rather unprofessional to me. I will say the staff was very nice.
I am always greeted by a human voice welcoming me. The Doctor and one of her many PAs are very friendly and very interested in what they can do to help me. They listen to me and do thorough body checks and look closely at possible issues of the skin. Their treatment is both quick and complete and they seem to enjoy their work. They have saved my daughters life by finding and excising a large melanoma.
Our family has had Dr. woll as our derm doc for many years. She was such a caring doc who spent time with u to get all the info needed to diagnose. I never in all those years had a problem getting appts.,& she always accommodated us if there was urgency, she found a serious skin cancer on me, & sent me to a specialist who did flap surgery on my nose. Does not value privacy of patients. I left my previous dermatologist due to lack of privacy concerns. This one has no curtains on the doors, and people do not knock before coming in to the room, let alone wait for a reply. During the visit I had the same person barge in twice, unannounced, and unrelated to my care while I was supposed to be undressed. All the employees and staff very friendly and easy. Good relaxed atmosphere. They took care of my problem mole
The appointment was made to be seen by Dr. Woll for a skin condition on my daughters neck. We were seen by a PA. Dr. Woll was not in site. The PA seemed unsure of herself. The PA wanted to take a biopsy on my daughters neck, which would leave a scar. We declined and sought a second opinion at the City of Hope. That was the best decision I could have ever made. The skin condition on my daughters neck turned out to be a fungus and was treated by a topical cream. I would not recommend Dr. Woll.
