I've been going to Dr. Elgas since before she opened her own practice. Love her!!! I find the office tranquil and warm and she always spends as much non-rushed time with me as I might need. The optician, Liz, has been with her since the beginning. She has chosen frames for my wife and I and many of our friends. Really knows her business. I would recommend Dr. Elgas and company, (Comprehensive Eye Care New England), to anybody and everybody!
I had an appointment here.. I go in get checked and receive my prescription, I go out and choose frames (selection is awful) I sit with this lady and she proceeds to tell me it will be 598.00/600.00! I told her I have Davis Vision... she says to me oh ya... you pay us and get re reimbursed through your ins. just call ins. hmmm I get back to my office and call Ins. they said this isn't how we work you present your card or they can even pull up your coverage when they run your BC/BS.. So these people already knew this as stand... read more

I love Dr. Elgas, all around she is a great doctor and I would recommend her to anyone. She takes the time to get to know her patients. However, there is one receptionist who is very rude to customers when calling in as if your requests are an inconvenience to her.
Dr. Elgas provides the most comprehensive eye exam I have ever had anywhere. She addresses every concern you have and makes sure you leave her office with the best quality eyewear possible.
