I have tons of anxiety around dentist visits, but the team at Laurelhurst Dentistry makes me feel comfortable. They are skilled, friendly, and always willing to answer all my questions. Scheduling is easy and I never have to wait long to be seen once I'm there. I always leave feeling well cared-for. I'd highly recommend this practice!
I realized this is not the norm--not for me, probably not for those of you who are seeking to find a good dentist. From the administrative staff to the technician to the doctor to the hygienist, everyone was both warm and professional. They even delivered the bad news (cavities and something about mesial--or was it distal--pits) in a way that made me want to actually get back in the chair and deal with it.
I continue to be amazed at how professional, courteous and friendly the staff at Laurelhurst Dentistry are. They make the appointment as easy as possible and I never feel pressured to get a procedure or treatment or shamed for not always keeping up the perfect dental hygiene regiment.
Everyone is always very friendly and does their best to make you feel comfortable. I've been coming to see Dr Bennett for the last 10 years. An I will continue to see her for years to come. Thanks again!

I have never been so comfortable and stress free at the dentist before now. Every one at this office is very kind and accommodating. I felt they explained what I needed and what could potentially be a problem in the future without feeling pressured. I also like that they are judgement free. Highly recommend and am actually looking forward to my next cleaning in six months.
The team at Laurelhurst Dentistry offer a balance of warmth and professionalism unlike any other dentist I've been to. Throughout my life, I've had dental issues, and I'm a bit uneasy about the experience of sitting in the chair. Since I've moved to Portland, finding this practice has resulted in a sort of stabilization of my issues. They give great advice, great service, and offer 'the little things' like a blanket or juice box if the novocaine causes shakiness. I highly recommend them.
