Last Resort Grill is delicious! The Last Resort is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is incredible and atmosphere is fun. The shrimp with linguine is awesome. You should split the Gorgonzola salad with any meal! The desserts are made by Cecilia a local baker. They are good but not the best I've ever had. Who has room for dessert after the fabulous meal though!
Last Resort Grill is Good to Me I like this grill. I got a turkey sandwich there that was pleasantly surprising. It's also in a good spot downtown and you can sit outside and watch all the college kids go by.
Delicious and well priced! I can't believe I've forgotten to review the Last Resort until now!!! This is by far one of the best restaurants that is downtown. I love taking family from out of town here to eat because I know that there is always something for everyone and it will always be delicious. It won't be your Last Resort for long! Doesn't sound so hot, does it? WRONG, it ROCKS! This place has gone through plenty of changes through the years, all because they know what it takes to keep up with the competition! You'll be pleasantly suprised if you make this your First Stop and give yourself a break! Don't waste your time wandering up and down the streets- a hot spot for sure, you'll be entertained just watching the people if you stop for a drink at everyone's Last Resort.
Last Resort Grill is my favorite downtown restaurant My favorite restaurant in Athens. My girlfriends and I go here all the time for a nice dinner in a really cool and upbeat atmosphere. They seem to use fresh, local foods as often as possible.

Good, Crowded & Loud – On game day, there was not surprise that this popular place had a crowd of patrons waiting on a table outside. Fortunately, the weather suited the 30 minute wait for lunch. Once seated, our server was friendly and attentive, though despite our table being well placed, a group of very loud sorority girls near by made conversation a challenge. An outstanding menu draws students and parents alike. – In Short Known amongst students as the place to take visiting parents, and known amidst the townie crowd as a place to get some serious grub at an amazing value, the Last Resort is located at a former music hall boasting early B-52’s shows.
