I had a rare complication during the flap creating part and couldn't continue through the full procedure until a week or two. But I felt put at ease by the whole team. He is there the whole time w/ a reassuring "everything is going great, you're doing fine, just breathe deeply." It's too bad Valium isn't given as a mild sedative. I do wish there was slightly more post op pain relief because my eyes felt like raw onions for about an hour or two post op.

Dr. Maw walked me through the whole process, was very patient and professional. His calm demeanor and knowledge helped ease my anxiety before and during the procedure. He also contacted me personally to check up on me afterwards, and that was very impressive. Best investment I have made in myself, only wish I had done it sooner. Could not have asked for a better surgeon!

My vision is awesome, I can see even further objects clear! The surgery is painless and very quick, it lasted no more than 10 minutes I would say. Thanks to Dr. Maw, he has vast experience and he talks to you during all the phases of the surgery, telling you what is going on, so that helps to keep the nerves away. Also, he asks you after post surgery days, how is the recovery process going, so that's highly appreciated it🙌🏻. Best decision you can take and with the high expertise of Dr. Maw
