Getting this done at 23 was definitely a little nerve wracking especially leading up to it but I was done with my dependency on my glasses. When I arrived on the day of my appointment, immediately I was greeted by such a happy and welcoming lady at the front desk I believe her name was Alyssa (but I could be wrong) her energy was just the best. DR. MARIE-ÈVE POIRIER & LASIK MD Staff Halifax: I had Microkeratome guided custom wave front lasik. My correction was for myopia and my prescription glasses were -4.50 and -3.75. Which actually was a bit worse by about .25 when they checked my eyes at my consultation & pre-op appointment. This ophthalmologist/surgeon is truly the best hands you could be in.
