Vegas Baby Vegas – Great beer, great staff, great atmosphere. All they need is a blackjack table and I can save money on flights out West.
Oversold – These other reviews are completely overselling this joint. I work around the corner and go there fairly often. Yes, the drinks are cheap. $2 20-ounce drafts are hard to pass up. Yes, the current look of the place is incredibly better than the previous incarnation, Leneghan's, which was dreadful. But, the current decor shouldn't impress anyone. Very impressive transformation. What used to be there reminded me more of the back streets of Atlantic City than the Strip in Vegas. This bar captures that positive Vegas vibe. Physically and crowd wise I have watched it get better and better all the time. I am looking forward to a Sinatra night with all Smirnoff drinks $1 off or something similar. Staff is very cool. Greatest bar on earth – This bar is great. Two pool tables. Great beers. Great specials. What more could you ask for?
Out of Tune – I agree with others that the Drinks are cheap, the decor is cool, and the service is top notch. I disagree with the Live music. He is too loud, you cant hear your self or your friends. If I wanted to hear a garage band I would cruise the local high schools because they would have more talent than the guy they have playing.
Old city, schmold city – Who needs old city when you can go right to Vegas!! This place is awesome! Drinks are twice the size and half the price as old city. The bartenders rock and the food is good and inexpensive! Oh yeah, and live music every friday with no cover! This place has it togoether!
"This place is so money!" – A bar that you would see in the movie Swingers. Cool bartenders, inexpensive drink prices and plenty of good food. The kitchen has improved greatly, and at the current prices it's an awesome deal. The bartenders are nice and let you pick the music from their CD player. Always a nice crowd and a good break from overpriced and trendy Old City. (I've also heard that a lot of celebrities pop in here to party, but the owner has threatened to fire any employees who talk. Just a rumor.)
Vegas, Baby, Vegas – The perfect bar if you're looking to have a big drinking night with a group of friends and you don't want to deal with big crowds and big attitudes. Drinks are cheap, the crowd is young and friendly, and they have Ms. Pac-Man and Golden Tee. Service is a little lacking, but after a few 20oz pints, you don't really notice.
This Place ROCKS! – Great food. Great drinks (bigger is always better). And, to top things off, the owner is a total hottie!! If you're visiting Philadelphia, put this bar on your list of places to go.
