They do the Job I've been a member of LVAC for a little over a year. I can't say I'm head-over-heels for the place, but I don't hate it either. They have several machines to work out on. I rarely have to stand by and wait for a machine. There are enough locations so that there is always on nearby, wherever I may wake up. The Flamingo club isn't the nicest, and it's not open 24 hours. LVAC = :( I went with a friend to check out the facility and work out with her as a guest. I am currently a member at 24 hour fitness and she was trying to convince me to switch gyms. DAN the sales associate was extremely rude when I asked if he could offer the same deal that I had at 24 hour fitness. He was condescending and he belittled me, as if I could not afford to work out there. He stated to me, "that I lacked commitment and I got to workout for free today, but if I wanted to come back I would have to pay." LVAC sucks... read more

DO NOT SIGN A MEMBERSHIP W/ LVAC!! My husband signed himself and me up for a membership and not two months later his wallet and car keys were stolen from his locker in the facility!! He had a combination lock on the locker!! The person stole his truck from the lot and the employees wanted nothing to do with us after that. They even told us NOT TO CALL THE COPS!! They refused to let us call the police!! The cops and dispatcher said that you should always call the police from the location and as soon as possible. We had to cal... read more

dont sign contact!! and sales rep are flat out liars Wow. Its unbelievable that sales rep will lie to your face about the contract details - and those smiles.. they're con artists. They will try to kiss up to you in order for you to sign it, but when it comes time to cancel, they wont even meet you in person at the club - they give you a number to call . then faxes to send. then penalties..proof of this and that.. I'm cancelling my gym membership for god's sake.. not selling a house.. Anyways, stay away from Las Vegas Athlet... read more

All They Want Is Your Money I originally got a membership with LVAC in 05 with my at the time bf, we went to the "Ghetto" location on maryland and karen.. it was scary to say the least... I ended up moving back to CA with 5 months left on my contract... I talked to someone very nice and told her I needed to cancel, they said no problem, took some info from me and DONE....
