DON'T SIGN A CONTRACT Though I agree with others that the facility met my expectations, I recently found the customer service to be unsatisfactory. I am 8 months pregnant and, per doctors order, cannot workout again until 8 weeks after my baby is delivered. Therefore, I called L.V.A.C. Las Vegas Athletic Clubs is committing credit card fraud! When your monthly auto-debited payment is due, they say that your credit card could not be charged then they try to charge you a $25 fee. My card had the available payment and they did not charge it. Then a week later they strated calling my cell phone, atleast 10 times a day, insisting I pay the fee. I spoke to American Express and they confirmed the amount was available. They are trying to screw you for extra money! Horrible company!

If you like to give your money away toward bad Customer Service - Sign Up! My husband signed a 2-year contract and paid up front. We had switched from 24-Hour Fitness because the 215/Eastern location had racquetball courts. I was 71/2 months pregnant at the time and was with him when he signed up. We spoke in front of the salesperson about how we were going to wait for me to sign up until after I had the baby since I wouldn't be able to utilize the facility. desert surfer I am soooooooooooooooo happy I read these reviews. I just moved here and seriously thought about joining lvac. I got a whiff of a scam when visiting their website and could not find or get to pricing. How many legitimate businesses offer a product without a price on the internet? Very %$#@ing few, that's how many. Thanks for the reviews folks, I'll avoid these hucksters like the plague.

Anna This club completely screwed me over. I signed with these guys in the fall of 07' but by winter in February 08' I was moving out of state so I needed to cancel my membership. When I called to cancel they told me all I needed to do was fax over my new address information in which I did and they would cancel it. Now almost 3 years later it showed up on my credit report in a collection account for almost $700.00. Las Vegas Athletic Clubs is a thief, they stole my money! I moved out from LV (finally!!) and canceled my membership, they supposed to send me check ($56). I've never got it, called them 3 times, finally 6 weeks later I asked again for MY money. They said they have sent check and I can pay 35 dollars to stop payment on the first check. RIDICULOUS! please dont sign a contract We joined the gym coz the tour was good and they have a lot of equipment and stuff but once we started going - we realized we dont need the upgraded service - to bring it down to 21 - they have a $25 cancellation fee, to cancel the subscription they need proof that u r moving like an airline ticket or a doctor's letter plus $150. now we are STUCK for 2 years and I dont think thats a nice feeling. so be very careful ...read the fine print and dont listen to the person marketing it please. Great deal for the $$$ The Green Valley LVAC is kept clean, lots of machines kept in much better condition than others gyms I've been to in LV. The staff at the front desk and at the corporate office have NEVER been rude to me. Even at 4:00 am, I'm usually greeted with a smile. Yes, it's crowded during the week in the evening, but you can always make time to do your workout another time. I purposely get up at 4:00 am to work out before I go to work, and it is never crowded then. As far as contracts go, it is what it is. If y... read more

NO CONTRACTS PLEASE I wouldn't suggest anyone go here.I can admit that their prices are cheap and to enroll is unbelievable but you are stuck for 2 years. What if something happens and you are unable to workout and you still have to pay the monthly dues.
